By day he drives strangers through the city for an app that measures his worth in rides. By night he auditions for the version of his life he already posts online.

Director Bio

Noel Braham

Noel Braham is an Emmy nominated writer, director, and producer. His short film Watchtower served as the concept for what would become Angel City.

A survivor of homelessness, Noel centers his work on social justice. As co-founder of the Micheaux Film Festival, he has supported thousands of filmmakers with partners including Sony Pictures, Apple TV+, The Oprah Winfrey Network, and Panavision, and in 2026 launched the Oscar Micheaux Institute. Angel City is his feature debut.
